Air: The nearest airport from Auli is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun (303.9km). There are many connecting flights between Dehradun and other Indian cities.

Road: The last stop before the Tibet border, Auli is 13km from Joshimath by road. 253km from Rishikesh, 277km from Haridwar, 298km from Dehradun and 500km from Delhi. One can hire a sharing jeep from any of these cities to Joshimath or take the local bus. 

Rail: The nearest railhead from Auli is at Haridwar (300km). One can take the Shatabdi Express from Delhi (6hrs) to Haridwar. It is linked to other big cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Allahabad etc.
